British Columbia · Marketing Consulting
Marketing consultant for BC businesses.
Most BC businesses have a marketing activity problem — they are doing things — but not a marketing system. Content, paid, email, and local search run in parallel without connecting. The result is effort that doesn't compound.
I audit the full stack, find the bottleneck, and rebuild around it. The output is a working system: channels connected, attribution tied to revenue, and a trajectory that looks different in month 18 than month 1. I work with BC founders and operators — remote from Kamloops, serving businesses across the province.

What breaks in BC businesses.
The same patterns appear regardless of whether the business is in Vancouver, the Okanagan, or the Interior. These are failures of architecture, not effort.
Tactics without a system
BC businesses often hire for execution — a freelancer for ads, an agency for social, someone for email — without anyone owning how the channels connect. Each piece is managed in isolation, so the whole is weaker than the sum of the parts.
Generic positioning in a regional market
The BC market rewards specificity. A consultant in Vancouver targeting "small businesses" competes with everyone. A trades business in the Interior targeting "Kamloops plumber" competes with almost no one. Most BC businesses haven't made that shift.
Organic and paid running parallel, not together
Paid ads drive cold traffic. Organic content builds a warm audience over time. Without a system connecting them — paid amplifying what already earns organic clicks — CAC stays high and every month costs the same as the last.
No attribution between marketing and revenue
You know which posts got likes and which ads got clicks. You don't know which marketing activity drove the customers who actually stayed. Without that connection, budget decisions are guesswork dressed up as strategy.
How an engagement works.
Audit
A full review of your marketing stack: channel mix, content architecture, positioning, attribution model, and where the BC market creates specific opportunities or constraints for your category.
Diagnosis
Identifying the one or two bottlenecks that, if fixed, would produce the most downstream improvement. Every business has several problems; the constraint is almost always fewer than it looks.
System design
A written marketing system: how channels interconnect, what content serves what function at each buyer stage, how email and organic compound over 12–18 months, and how you'll know if it's working.
Build and measure
Implement the system, set up attribution tied to revenue rather than vanity metrics, and run monthly optimisation against outcomes that matter for a BC business at your stage.
Common questions.
Where are you based?
Kamloops, BC. I work with businesses across British Columbia and Canada. All client work is done remotely — geography has never been a constraint.
What types of BC businesses do you work with?
Two main tracks: B2B and professional services companies at $1M–$20M ARR who need a connected marketing system, and local BC businesses — trades, restaurants, real estate agents — who need web and local search fundamentals done properly.
How is this different from a Vancouver marketing agency?
An agency sells executional capacity inside a retainer. I design the system and hand it off as something your team can run. The goal is for you to understand and own the marketing strategy, not to create dependency on an ongoing retainer.
Do you work with businesses outside the BC Interior?
Yes. Most consulting clients are distributed across BC and Canada. Physical location is irrelevant for B2B marketing strategy work. For local SEO and web design, I serve the BC Interior specifically — Kamloops, Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton, Salmon Arm.
What's the best way to start?
The Strategy Diagnostic is $1,500 over two weeks. It produces a written audit and recommendation, whether or not you hire me for anything afterward. Most BC businesses find it useful on its own.
If your BC business is spending on marketing without seeing it compound, the Diagnostic is the lowest-friction way to find out why. Two weeks, $1,500, written deliverable.
